Copyright policy

Last updated October 13, 2026

JreamJaeana Inc (Next Up) respects the rights of people who make photos, videos and other creative work, and asks everyone who uses Next Up to do the same. Barbers and businesses may only post photos and words they made themselves or have permission to use. If you think something on Next Up uses your work without permission, tell our copyright agent as described below, and we'll look at it quickly.

Reporting work used without permission

To be valid under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)), your notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name works), as the copyright owner or someone allowed to act for them.
  2. What work you believe was copied (for example, a description of your photo, or a link to where you posted it).
  3. Where it is on Next Up: the link to the page, and which photo or text, so we can find it.
  4. Your name, mailing address, phone number and email.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't allowed by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or allowed to act for them.

When we get a valid notice, we take the material down or block it, and let the person who posted it know. Please be accurate: someone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing can be liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)). For anything that isn't about copyright, such as a photo that's inappropriate or a profile that isn't real, use Support instead.

If your post was taken down by mistake

If you posted the material and believe it was removed by mistake or misidentified, you can send our copyright agent a counter-notice (17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)) that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. What was removed and where it was on Next Up before it was removed.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is (or, if you're outside the United States, any judicial district where JreamJaeana Inc may be found), and that you'll accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

We send a copy of a valid counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they've filed a court action to stop the use, we may put the material back 10 to 14 business days after we received the counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

We suspend or end, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of people and businesses who repeatedly post work that infringes someone else's copyright. We may also remove any material that we believe infringes, with or without a notice.
